RHINELAND INCREASES (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph —Copyright) , \ LONDON, July 20. Signs are not lacking of Germany’s increasing military power and significance. /. ■ The “Daily Herald” reports that the German garrisons on the left bank of the Rhine are to lie considerably reinforced, following 011 General von Blomberg’s inspection of the Rhineland and of the Palatinate. A Rhineland newspaper in announcing the reinforcement plans declares: France will realise that this province is no longer a “no man’s land.” The “Daily Herald” points out that not only are the pre-war garrison towns being re-occupied, but also smaller towns that never before weie garrisoned. Germany is spending £24,000,000 in railway reconstruction, which ts designed to speed up communication between South Western Germany and the French and Luxemburg frontieis. A big military aerodrome is being constructed at Enheim, which is less than three miles from the French frontier.
