MEETING RECENT DISPUTES CHAMBER ACCORDS URGENCY (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright). (Received this day at "2.25 p.m.) PARES, June 9. In the Chamber. AL Blum tabled bills for a forty-lrour-iveek, holidays of fifteen days with pay, collective contracts, exemption of war veterans from taxation, and alterations to certain decree laws.
He asked the Chamber to adopt the procedure of extreme urgency, and the Chamber, by a large majority approved. The bill for collective contracts give? a public authority power to arbitrate in case of differences between parties respecting the national agreement. It extends tire agreement to .parties not represented at the negotiations on June 7.
Textile representatives told Al. Blum they would accept the agreements, but drew the attention of the Government to the necessity for a reduction in the export tax in order to enable them to defend markets.
