(Received this da yat 10.50 a.m.) LONDON, May 27. d’he “Sun Herald” .says the Imperial Conference has been fixed for after the Coronation. The main item of the agendt will l)'e defence. The “Sun Herald” learns that proposals for the closest possible co-ordin-ation in the Anglo-Doihinion defence activity in connection with Imperial communications'will be discussed. The basis of discussion will be the development arising from Britain s white paper programme in addition to the Ministry of Co-ordination of Defence operations. Britain strongly believes that, owing to instability in the international sitaion, the tightening of the Imperial defence liason is imperative, and that Empire trade agreements will work only if the trade routes are invulnerable.'
