: A red flag of the communists, with a hammer and sickle on was discovered at dawn to-day flying from the flagstaff above the new imposing supreme court building. At the basefof the pole was a copy of Harvard University students humorous publication “Campoon” , containing an article entitled “Down With Capitalism.” Regular v guards; composed of four men passed by the flagstaff all night, yet pranksters not ■ only succeeded in l raising the emblem, .unknown to them but so skilfully, knotted the halyards that a removal of. the flag necessitated long labour by the,; police and firemen who were compelled i to employ a high extension ladder be-r fore they could tear down the emblem.
