MeCREADY V. WADE.
Earl MeCteady and Glen AVade, two of the best importations, will meet at the Greyinouth Town Hall on Saturday night, in a wrestling contest scheduled for fljight-ten-minute rounds. Both men hgve splepdid records, and though MeOready has won on the few occasions the two have met, his first victory was a close one on points, and the other by one fall. They are as evenly matched as any in the country, and with two men of such, obvious class engaged, patrons should be in for a great night’s grappling; MtCrcady; is now the undisputed British 1 Empire champion. ~ . , - ; .V To eliminate the possibility of any misunderstanding this time, the secretary of the Boxing Association, wired the Dominion Wrestling/Union on Wednesday enquiring the time of the arrival of the contestants. He was advised by telegram yesterday, that Wade will arrive from Christchurch, this afternoon, and McCready will definitely leave ’Wellington, via Nelson last night.
