LONDON, December 12. The All Biiweks defeated Mid-Dis-tricts by 31 to 10. The All Blacks met a team representative of second class Glamorgan Valley Clubs. Eight- thousand attended. Their opponents looked small in comparison with the Ail Blacks. Nevertheless they started promisingly and there should have been an early score from a good passing movement, but Mitchell dashed across and saved. The attackers were apparently over excited when on the eve of a try. Micl-Dis-tricts continued surprisingly well, keeping the All Blacks defence busy, although the visitors were apparently taking things casually.
(filbert kicked a penalty goal from the neighbourhood of half way. Tiudill went through from a scrum and sent King in lor an easy iry, Gilbert converting. He has scored one hundred points during the tour. Pepper scored after Best had dribbled through. At half time the score was New Zealand 11, Mid-District nil.
Oliver was limping, but nevertheless played an excellent game, ne scored one of the best tries of the tour, securing the bail at half-way and beating four or five opponents, touched down between the posts. Corner goal-, fid.
Tiudill dropped a goal from the, twenty-live after which Phillips dodged down the line and passed to James who scored, Clare converting. Phillips dived on the ball when it was kibbled through, Oaughey being unable to intervene owing to an injured thigh. Clare converted. Mitchell scored a try and Brown scored two, the second from a run from half way. Gilbert converted Mitchell’s try, the game, ending, New Zealand 31, Mid-District 10.
