‘■Hips, Hips, Hooray,” starring licit Wheeler and Robert Woolsev, for this sparkling and zestful girl and melody themed picture has plenty of blondes and brunettes, with even a few titian tressed beauties for those who preier the more fiery type. Chief among the blondes is the statuesquely beautiful comedienne, Thelma Todd, who acts as the feminine foil for Woolsey’s eiiergetio bufl'oonings. Thelma is aided by a score of Hollywood’s most charming dancing blondes in her efforts to keep the comedy star’s attention directed toward the flaxen-tressed clan, liuth Etting and Dorothy Lee also add their talents and lures to the picture, managing between them to keep Bert Wheeler’s romantic incline- j tions from straying too far from the fold. Also showing Charlie Chaplin ' comedy, “The Count,” news and car-' toon.
