ROBOT PLANE
HAS SUCCESSFUL TRIAL. (British Official Wireless.) (Received this day at 1.50 p.m.) RUGBY, June 27. A wirelessly controlled aeroplane, which is the first of its kind in the world, revealed full capabilities in a public flight at Farinborougli aerodrome (Hampshire) yesterday. The robot plane which is known as Queen Bee, proved responsive to every wireless command of the officer in charge of the control position, for nearly one hour.
