f -CAR PLUNGES IN RIVER(Per Press Association, Copyright). TAI-HAPE, June 25, A light sedan car, driven by Mr A* M. a well-known Tainope 'business man,, went over the bank at Hihitahi, ten miles north of Taihape, last eveiling and turned several somersaults before plunging into the Hautaupu River, 60’ feet below the level of the road. Mr Barnard was thrown through the sunshine roof of the ca r soon (after the, vehicle left the road and escaped injury, although he could not prevent himself falling into the wqtcr.
