I hat a section of the Methodist Church holding extreme pacifists views had been responsible for the discontinuing of the military training at the Wesley College at Auckland, was a statement made to-dav by Rev. fla renee Eaton, past president of the New Zealand Methodist conference. Mr Eaton said that the action taken at Wesley College had no significance a,s applying to the Methodist Church as a whole. It was entirely the action of the hoard of trustees °f the College, and it did not express the attitude of the church.
