KIDNAPPERS’ FEES
AMERICAN LAWYERS CHARGED. (United Press Association —By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright) NEW YORK, June 22. Tim Federal authorities are trying not only to eliminate kidnappers, but to penalise lawyers who defend them. Tivo Oklahoma aftomicys, Messrs Laska. and Mathers, arc charged with participation in accepting £2OOO in fees knowing that the money was a portion of £40,000 which Harvey Bailey and “Machine Gun” - Kelly obtained for the release of Mr Charles Ursehel. Five kidnappers in this ease already have been sentenced t 0 imprisonment for life.
