EVIDENCE IN COURT

LONDON, May 29

The Home Office and Scotland Yard are interested in a Derbyshire case whei'e a cinema film, which a policeman took, was shown in Court a s evidence in a hefting case.

Scotland Yard officials state that a police cinema department has not been esthlished ycifc, a,ithough films' ,hove "been used lor years in cases in Europe and A merica.

The newspapers say they believe lawyers would oppose the contention that the camera cannot lie, and mention the possibility of an innocent passer-by walking on to the scene of a crime.
