lAIPROYED RAILWAYS REVENUE WKLUXOTOX. April 24. The chairman of the Railways Hoard announced to-day, the preliminary figures for the four weekly poiiod to .March 31. The revenue increase was £7275 and the decrease in expenditure was £37,875, compare,! with the corresponding period last year. For the whole year, the revenue shows an increase of £29-),l(i—, and expenditure an increase ot £293,452 leaving a 'balance in net revenue of £l7lO.
