VISITORS HORRIFIED
A HUMAN ARM
DISGORGED BY CAPTIVE SHARK. (Australian Press Association.J SYDNEY, April 26. Visitors to the Coogee mjuai'ium to" day were horrified when a fourteen foot shark, caught a week ago for exhibition, suddenly disgorged the arm of a mail, whereon was tattooed the picture of a lv>.\cr, which, file, police believe will assist Vi identification.
'The limb was in a comparatively good state of preservation. It bore teeth marks near the shoulder where it had been wrenched from the victim’s bod.' • Portions of another shark, and bone*, wore ejected at. the same time. The shark has refused to eat since it
vyis captured. The police believe an arm disgorged by a shark, follows the suicide of a man, at least eight days ago. A rope, two feet long was attached to the wrist. It is presumed the shark failed completely to swallow the arm which thus escaped the action of strong digestive juices.
