Most London newspapers have editorials devoted to th e Duke of Gloucester’s return, expressing appreciation, of the warmth of the welcome everywhere accorded him, and stressing the value of such visits in promoting Empire unity. > • { The “Moi’nvig Post” suggests that it is not the Statute 'of Westminster, hut the monarchy which is the cement holdiing the edifice of the IR’itish Oomnrenwealth together. It says: “The Duke of Gloucester’s mission fully accredits him to our brilliant co r ps : of ioya 1 am bassadors. ’ ’
