Apart from questions of parochialism, the leakage of information and other aspects of the incident demands a plain statement from (he ■Prime Minister as to whether the Cabinet has departed from its original intention of postponing the selection of the State representatives until after the election, and. if s f >. why the .dairy companies were not advised so that the candidatures may be revised, if that is considered necessary.”
