Tennent as follow : West Coast open championship singles.—Mrs Palmer; runner-up, Mrs W’hibley; championship doubles, Mns Paimor and Mr s Seandrett; runnersup, ilrs Hannan and Mrs Davies. Handicap Doubles : Mrs Tennent and Mrs McKay; runners-up, Mrs Whibley and Mrs Hannan. Handicap Singles (six bisques and under).—Mrs Robertson; runner-up, Mrs Whibley. Handicap Singles (over (1 bisques).— Mrs Moss; runner-up, Mrs Owen. Silver buttons competition, Section A.—Mrs McCracken (Runauga); SecHandicap Singles (6 bisques and untion C. —Mrs Moss (Greymouth). NEW ZEALAND V. ENGLAND. (Australian Press Association.). MELBOURNE, Feb. 18. .New Zealand was again well down in the first day of the third croquet test, England leading by three rubbers to one. Petlev defeated Hartnell ; Poultor defeated Airs Caklow, and Du re defeated Stratton. Airs Corbett (N.Z.) defeated AVemyss.
