WEDDING

GIITBFJLLET-BLANK. The marriage took place last week at All Saints’ Church of Muriel Alexandra, third daughter of Mrs Blank and the late Mr G, H. Blank, of Hokitika to John Cecil second soil of Mr > K C. Gutlierlet, of Kiimara. The Rev. M. J. W. Knights ulliciulcd, and Miss Marion Davies, presided at liie organ. Tile bride, who was escorted by her brother Mr 11. A. Blank, wore a simple frock of pure white georgette, cut 011 fitting lines, the skirt forming a lull 1 1 a in, and her beautiful veil was heavily embroidered, making an imitation lace effect. She carried a shower bouquet of gladioli, phlox, Jillicos and maiden hair fern. Miss Jean Blank attended the bride, trucked in a dainty gown of pure white georgette made on Victorian lines, wearng a white tulle cap, finished with an orange blossom spray. Her bouquet was of pale pink carnations, antirrhinums sweet (peas and maiden hair fern.

The duties of best man were ably carried out by Mr A. T Gutlierlet, of Taylorville, brother of the bridegroom. Afterwards a reception was hoi.- at the bride’s residence, her mocker receiving the guests in a black figured tuck cord frock and black tuck cord coat with black hat, wearing a sprav ol red roses.

When Mr and -Mrs Gutlierlet left later on their honeymoon, the bride wore a smart black tailored costume with peach straw hat and jumper to match.
