N.S.W. PROPOSAL
TO INCREASE ALLOWANCES.
(Australian Press Association.) Relief workers. —? —? —? (Received this day at 11.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, January 22. The Premier (Mr B. S. Stevens) announced in the Assembly that the Government propesed to increase allowances to relief Workers. Details have n ot yet been completed. The chief secretary (Mr haffy) stated that the Government had set aside £90,000 for expenditure on boots and clothing for unemployed.
