PARTY ASTRAY IN FOG.
(Special to the “Guardian”) WATHO GORGE, Jan. 22. Sonic concern was felt for a party, when crossiig from Defiance Hut to Waikuluipa Valley on Sunday, when they were overtaken by a dense fog bank, causing them to enter Oemoeroa Valley by mistake. The party had to pass down a difficult gorge, and were forced to spend two nights in the
open. They returned this morning fit and well. *
