In view of Mr Bruce’s return from Geneva to-night, M.r Thomas and Mr Elliott have convened the High Commissions meeting for to-morrow, to arrange a meat regulation, in the interim between the termination of the Jan uary-Mai’ch * period and Mr Lyons’ arrival, before which no long term decision will ; Be .reached.

The commoner, Mr Maxton, is affianced to Madeline Glasit-r, nn active member of the Independent Labour Party, who worked voluntarily as his secretary for eleven years.
