AUCKLAND, January 21
The de a th took place of John Robb, aged 80, one of the pioneers of the timber tr a d e in Auckland. From 1901 to 1923 he was general manager oi Kauri Timber Coy, and since 1923, chairman of the local board.
The sudden death took place yesterday, shortly after 1 p.m. of Mrs Kelly, wifi' Mr James Kelly, of ,Mouth iSpit. ' !i■.■cased appeared t,o be in her usual in-altli, and after having her usual meal said she woidd 'have a lie dov. >.x for a while. ' Five minutes later she was found dead on her bed. Deceased was a daughter of the late Mr and Mrs G. E. Mclntosh, formerly of South Spit, was 60 years of age and a native cf Ross. She leaves a husband, and family of three daughters, (Mrs H. Archer, Misses Jean and Mavis Kelly), three sons (Alexander, George and John) two brothers (George and John Mclntosh). two sisters (Mrs J. Henderson and Mrs G. Lopas).
