LITTLE AMERICA, December 5,
Tim first radio reports for a .week from the expedition's geological phi'ty, who are 525 nautical miles south-east of here, stated the party were camped at on altitude of 4600 feet. They had abandoned the intention of scaling the Leverctt Glacier, but, instead, were mounting the Thorne Valley, a virtually unknown section of the Queen Maude Range. There a'-e high granite mountains in this area, which, ft is believed, will provide interesting geological material.
