WEDDING
A quiet but pretty wedding Avas solemnised at St. Mary’s Church, (Hokitika on Wednesday, December 5. The •contracting parties to the happy event Avere Kathleen Maud 'McNeill, oldest daughter of Mr and Mr s A. McNeill, of Ruatapu, and Stephen. Patrick, only son of Mrs and the late Mr Chas. Martha, of Jacksons. The bride who was given a "'ay by her father, Avoi’e a lovely frock of blue celanese, relieved with silver and carried a lovely bouquet, the gift of the Sisters of Mercy. Her sister, Miss Ellen McNeill, Avas bridesI maid and Avore a lovely frock of pink I crepe de chine nnd she carried a beautiI ful bouquet. Both Avore hats to match | their frocks. Mr A. McNeill mas best man. The Very Rev. Father Joyce performed the ceremony and conducted Nuptial Mass. The wedding party adjourned to Mrs Malloch’s tea rooms where refreshments were partaken of and later left by train en route to Christchurch Avhere the honeymoon AviU he spent, carrying a'vay the 'best Avishes of their numerous friends.
