She will remain in this country for another three weeks, after which she will leave for Australia. . '■ 1 Since she has * been in the South (Island Lady iSwaythling has’ : * visiteif 'Queenstown, .Lake' Wanaka, and 'Mount Cook. ':She .was most enthusiastic about' the ; of "each, and considered that there were, sights •there ..'which . 'equalled anything she had seen in the. many other, countries she has visited. The most interesting, she thought, w« s Mount Cook, and she described her visit there as a remarkable experience. The (bureau v authorities . had expressed:, regret that she 'would 'be able - to'give -adequate time to see the attractions of the South Island; and they were-pleas-ed when it was. found that because Fiji would not ibe •at its best' when she would have been there, she would be ablb -to spend a .’longer time' in the South Island. She was glad of that, because •it would have. been absurd- to. have come all the way .from England to stay only a few days in the south.
