A girl, Patricia Maguire, aged 29 years, has shown signs of regaining consciousness, .after having been in a deep sleep, lasting for two years and nine months. / In February, of 1932, Miss Maguire Buffqred istrange germ rftback on her centres of consciousness in . the brain, which the physicians'have been unable to diagnose or to relieve. By presenting before her words written on a blackboard, the mother of the girl hn s gradually ■ provoked more 'and more physical and mental response, which she hopes may eventually lead to a full recovery of the girl.
