The Federal Cabinet discussed the proposed restriction for two months 6f Australian exports of beef and veal to the United Kingdom. The Government’s opposition is evident, but it is felt the position could he clarified by securing expert knowledge and opinions 'of the industry. Dr Earle Page, is calling the Meat Advisory Board to a conference at 'Canberra ag soon as possible.

In view of the likelihood of Western Australia desiring to be represented, it is improbable the conference will be held earlier than the beginning of next week.
