A triple engined Fokker, with a crew of four, carries Christmas mail to Dutch Guiana, via Casablanca and Cape Verde. This will be the first Dutch commercial Atlantic closing. The aircraft while in mid-Atlantic, will gain wireless contact with a Dutch submarine leaving next week on a scientific cruise of the Atlantic and Indian' Oceans.
