HOTEL DESTROYED
■FIRE OCCURS AT WA'LLSEND

GREYMOUTH, August 31
Eire destroyed the Albion Hotel at Wall send this morning, nothing being saved, except a few personal belongings of the licensee, ‘Mr E. Moore, and his wife, who' with their niece, were the only occupants. A neighbour at 3.40 a.m. smelt smoke and found the hotel on fire. Ho aroused the occupants who escaped. The fire is 'believed to have started in the kitchen. The building, which was fifty years oid, was a wooden twostorey structure, owned by the licensee.
