CATHEDRAL ‘ ‘PILGRIMAGE’ ’ PLAN (United Press Association—By EJectrn Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, June 19. The King and Queen will .attend aspecial serivee at Westminster ..Abbey on July 1, when a scheme for a “Pilgrimage” to Britain’s cathedrals, the purpose of which is to raise funds for the unemployed in the distressed areas, will be inaugurated. The pilgrimage, the idea of which originated with the Dean of Canterbury, will last a fortnight, and tickets costing 2s 6d will be sold to pilgrims who will see the cathedrals under special circumstances.
