An earthquake shock of great intensity, the epicentre being estimated in South Afghanistan 0 r Baluchistan, was recorded at various Indian observatories at- 3,43 yesterday morning. There is no news hitherto from Afghanistan, hut it is feared heavy damage has been caused. The tremors were felt in several places on the Indian frontier. People rushed panic stricken from their houses.
