The New South “Wales crew retained the eight-oared chamionship of Australia and the King’s Gold Cup, which was rowed yesterday on the Derwent River, winning by four lengths from Western Australia, with Queensland third and Tasmania fourth. The Victorian and South Australian boats were swamped.
