GERMAN INPUJENCE ON SALES. (United Press Association — By Y.ectria Telegraph Copy r igh t) LONDON, May 4The embargo on the importation of wool tops and yarns into Germany Ims been extended to May 21. The “Yorkshire Post” says that the London sales revealed an indirect. German influence on the sale room. The extension of the’ ban should not materially alfeet the spot trade. There are many firms accustomed to buy on the German account, uflio are prepared to operate in anticipation of future requirements. It will he nearly two months after the close of t-e present series before the sales recommence. Germany obviously will need supplies before then.
