PRINCE GEORGE
“A JOY TO HIS TAILORS” LONDON, April 26. “Prince George is the best-dressed 'member ?>f the IRoyal family,” said the editor of the “Tgiilor and Cutter, a trade journal,- when interviewed to- * “He has an ideal figure from the tailor’s viewpoint. “Prince George mot /only taller than the Prince of Wales, but he is -built in proportion. He carries his height with natural graceful 1 ness and does full justice to good clothes. “There is nothing of the dandy about him. He loves comfort in clothes, yet he always looks spruce, oven after a strenuous day.
“The Prince is particularly fond of double-breasted suits, without waistcoats. No matter whether the jacket has two or three buttons, be fastens only the waist-button, leaving those
above undone. “TTe likes suits with indistinct checks, and wears white collars with the points set wide apart, allowing the tie to slip easily. “Prince Gerogc is also partial to double-breasted overcoats, unbuttoned at the breast, with narrow turnback cuffs.
“Perhaps it is in evening dress that the Prince looks his best, bis height enabling him to wear a. win-* collar with large points and a large white bow with generous ends. •-“A red carnation almost invariably relieves the study of black and white, like a cherry in a cocktail.
“Any tailor, seeing Prince George step off a boat looking as though be had never been a mile from Saville. Row must be proud of his carriage and appearance.”
