CANTERBURY SEEKS GRANT,
TO SEND TEAM TO WEST COAST.

CHRISTCHURCH, December 1
At a meeting of the Canterbury Amateur Athletic Cntre, on the suggestion of the chairman it was decided to ask the New Zealand Council for a grant of £25 for the purpose of sending a team of Canterbury athletes and cyclists to the West Coast. The Sydenham Club wa B granted permission to tour Nelson, Motueka and Westport in the Christmas holidays.
