The Newfoundland Legislative Coun-1 cii (0-n'ight unanimously passed a resolution from the Lower Chamber approving of the Royal Commission’s recommendation for relinquishing tile rights of a Dominion, and for submitting to* government by a Commission until the island is again self supporting. A message will be despatched to His Majesty the King asking that the Cbm- j mission’s recommendations be im-
plemented, and it i s understood that the United Kingdom Parliament' will adjust the island’s financial difficulties without delay.
