CHRISTCHURCH, November 30.
The death occurred in Rotherham Hospital following an illness, of Mrs Alf. Brustad, formerly Mies Aroha Clifford. Prior to her marriage she was ■a flying enthusiast. Mi’S Bru si ad wa s 25 years old. Her death followed the (birth of a son two clays ago.
She was New Zealand’s first woman pilot. Her husband was a former guide at Mount Cook.
