JAPANESE IMPORTS INGREASE (Australian Press Association). CANBERRA, November 10. Statistics made available by the Commonwealth Statistician, ' show a steady increase in imports from Japan to Australia. In the year ended June 30, 1933, the value of Japanese imports was £3,564,553, compared with £2,396,724 in 1932. APANFSE PURCHASE OF WOOL SYDNEY, November 10. The manager of the Japanese Government Woolen Mills, Tokio, now visiting Sydney, considers that Japan will lie a larger buyer of Australian woo! for some time to come. At least 600,000 bales are likely to be required. He denied statements that Australian wool-classing was faulty.
