Early scenes of the glamorous story are laid in the Califormia orchard country at harvest time. when the wandering apple-pickers are camped under the .trees,.. dasicing to. gay strings -in the moonlight: or making love among the shadows. The romance is that of a girl who leaves her humble love tor fame—finds it and then—but that is the story. . Margaret Schilling, brought from Broadway for this picture, and known to listenersrin everywhere as the Radio Girl plays the feminine lead. V The male lead is Paul Gregory, introduced to Hollywood by Ziegfeld of the “Follies.” Others, are Tom Patricola. Bruce Winston, diaries Winninger and Marion Byron—wth hundreds of added Characters, and the Groony Singers, numbering over one hundred mixed voices. An excellent supporting programme will also be shown.
