EXCELSIOR 'FOOTRA'LT, CLUB. w The supper room of .the Soldiers’ Ha’l presented >aii animated appearance last -night an the occasion of the annual bariquet to the Excelsior Football Club. The president (Mr H, jVI. Ooa ; :»u n , presided over n happy gathering, there bei-ng about 75 players and guests present, The room was tastefully decorate,d in the /Club’s colours (red and black) and incidental music was furnished by a combined orchestra under the leadership of Mr C. Williams. An imposing array of trophies graced the principal table, and were the subject both of eulogistic reference by the chairman, and of admiration by the numerous guests.
