The New Zealand Rugby Union management committee- last night recorded its deep regret at the death of Lord Ranfurlv, and in making reference to the Ranfuiiy -Shield, Air Dean (chairman), said it would serve not only as an indication of Lord Ranfurly's interest in rugby, but also perpetuate bis memory.
