AUCKLAND. ■October 10.
A well-known Devonport resident, Mr David (Roy Cooper, aged 53, collapsed and died while walking in the street. Employed on tho staff of the New Zealand Insurance Company, Mr Cooper was a prominent member of the Independent Ordc'r of Oddfellows, •and was on his way : to a meeting of a Devonport Lodge, of which he was Noble Grand. He was a Past Grand Master of tho Grand Lodge of New (Zealand.
