The Lincoln Walsall Town Council have decided to eliminate the military atmosphere from their 'armistice celebrations. The Lincoln British Legion are organising a separate service. The “Daily Herald” says that suggestions to the War Office to remove the military setting from the cenotaph service have been rejected.
