A claim ha s been lodged on behalf of the New Zealand Shipping Company for confiscated English silver coin, on the ground that the si!ve r found was its property. The Victorian Collector of Customs, who has had charge pf it since the silver was confiscated, says that- no on. has yet claimed ownership, though L is understood that the New Zealand Government has submitted >a claim.
