Diving head first from an air for.ee. bomber at a height of 27,000 ,feet, a parachutist., John Tranum, iy believed to have created a world’s record at Netlicravon. He delayed his drop, falling like a stone for eighteen thousand feet before expanding his parachute and thereafter drifting for five miles, and narrowly escaping a tree in landing. The previous record was held by an American of Id,ooo feet.
