CAR COLLIDES WITH TRAIN.

WELLINGTON, May 22. . Four persons were killed and three seriously injured, when , a motor car collided with a, train at Porirua railway crossing at six last evening. The 'impact threw the .car 'on, to the engine of a stationarytrairi'.'[on yvthe .next sot of rails. The victims are:—
Killed:. Mrs Lincoln and her four-year-old daughter, of Rangitikei line, Palmerston North. Mrs Frances Lena Gaskin, of ' Burke Street, Palmerston North, (a daughter of V. Morlais, of Ekfttahuna). Miss Enright, who boarded with Mrs Gaskin. ■ ' - ■ •
