CLARK SENTENCED

Thomas Francis Clark, 33, a labourer, who was charged with the murder of Mrs Bennett at Papatoetoe; but was found guilty of manslaughter, wa.s sentenced to-day 'by Justice Smith. His Honour said the jury must have taken the view that there was a contract ' o'jT marriage between the accused ■and Mrs Bennett'; also that,, when ho .looked into "the bedroom and saw her shaving her bed with another man, lie lost his power .of ’ contrpl and.... coin-, mitted the act in 'a,fit of piissfan..
