CONFUSED SITUATION.

Mr Davis conferred with M. Boncour, and subsequently stated that the disarmament situation was extremely confused, and it was impossible to forecast the future. Similarly it was difficult to see what decisions of importance the Economic Conference would take unless the monetary problem was solved. Hitler’s speech will exercise a decisive influence, and is awaited anxiously.
