In the international Soccer match here to-day, Italy and England , drew the scores being one goal each. - v . Armed police and militia ringed ■ the Fascist stadium hours before the, kickoff in the Association football match between England and Italy, . They were there to prevent the rushing of the gates. There wa s tremendous interest in the match, fifty thousand being present. .. . - ‘
A band played the Fascist hymn when Signor Mussolini arrived. He stood for a minute with , his arm outstretched in salute, turning from side to side in refcognition. Sir Ronald and Lady Graham, sat beside Signor Mussolini. The match was a ding-dong struggle, but both sides finished" poorly, the Italians missing four excellent chances of scoring.
