SOME STRANGE ANOMALIES
Hollywood’s births, marriages and divorces are going a, long way toward making one big family of film folk. When Mary Piekford married , Owen Moore, Alice Joyce, having been married to Tom Moore, became her sister-in-law. Eventually, Tom married lienee Adoree. Obviously, Mary and Renee are related as a result, but there , is not as yet a word coined to describe such a relationship.
Through her brother Jack, wh u died recently, Mary was, in fact sister-in-law to the ill-fated Olive Thomas, Marilyn Miller and Mary Mulhern. She was also sister-in-law to the three husbands of her sister Lottie.
